1. The Project Brief – Digital Speed for a Moving Company

MoveMates UK specializes in house, office, and long-distance removals, offering quick, professional, and friendly service.
The goal was clear:

  • Build instant trust with first-time visitors.

  • Make booking a move as easy as sending a message.

  • Reflect professionalism and reliability without making the site feel corporate or cold.


2. Understanding the Audience – Urgency Meets Trust

Moving customers typically visit such sites during a high-stress period:

  • They want instant information on services.

  • They need pricing and quotes quickly.

  • They look for proof of reliability before committing.

The UI/UX had to address all three within seconds of landing on the site.


3. UI/UX Design Approach – Fast, Clear, Friendly

a. Visual Identity

  • Colors:

    • Trust Blue (#1E4E8C) – Reliability and security

    • White (#FFFFFF) – Clarity and openness

    • Light Gray (#F5F5F5) – Soft backgrounds for content separation

  • Typography:

    • Bold sans-serif headings for quick scanning

    • Clean body fonts for easy reading

  • Imagery:

    • Real moving-day photography with a human touch

    • Black-and-white hero images with selective color highlights for visual focus

  7. Final CTA: Reinforce quote request to catch last-minute decision-makers
