Where social impact meets purposeful digital design.

Project Overview

The Akintunde Foundation, a community-driven nonprofit, focuses on education, youth empowerment, and sustainable development projects across underserved regions. Their mission is deeply human, yet their online presence needed a modern, accessible platform to inspire trust, attract donors, and mobilize volunteers globally.

Our goal was to craft a clean, impactful, and emotionally engaging website that reflects their values, shares their stories, and facilitates easy action-taking for supporters.

Design Direction & Visual Identity

  • Color Palette:

    • Deep Navy (#0D1B2A) – Symbolizing trust, stability, and professionalism.

    • Bright Yellow (#F4D35E) – Evoking optimism, hope, and the warmth of community initiatives.

    • Clean White (#FFFFFF) – For a crisp, modern backdrop that enhances content readability.

    • Accent Teal (#2E8B8B) – Used sparingly to highlight calls-to-action and important sections.

  • Typography:

    • Headings: Montserrat – Modern and bold for impactful titles.

    • Body: Open Sans – Highly legible, ensuring ease of reading across devices.

User Experience Highlights

  • Impact-First Homepage: Large hero image with inspiring photography of real projects, immediately communicating the foundation’s mission.

  • Clear Navigation: Structured menus for Programs, About, News, and Get Involved — enabling both first-time visitors and repeat users to find information effortlessly.

  • Storytelling Blocks: Visual cards highlighting real stories of change, paired with concise copy to draw readers into the cause.

  • Donation Journey: A distraction-free donation process with clear suggested amounts and recurring giving options.

  • Volunteer Sign-Up Flow: Simple form with minimal fields to encourage more sign-ups.

Technical Enhancements

  • Responsive Design: Fully optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop, ensuring accessibility for global audiences.

  • SEO Optimization: Keyword research focused on “youth empowerment initiatives,” “nonprofit community development,” and other relevant terms to improve discoverability.

  • Fast Load Times: Image compression and caching reduced page speed load to under 2 seconds, improving engagement.

  • Security: SSL encryption, secure donation gateway integration, and GDPR compliance for handling user data responsibly.

Impact & Results

Since launch, the Akintunde Foundation website has:

  • Increased online donations by 35% in the first 3 months.

  • Grown volunteer applications by 42% due to the improved sign-up process.

  • Strengthened trust with donors through transparent reporting and visually documented success stories.

Key Takeaway

The Akintunde Foundation’s new website isn’t just a digital presence — it’s a platform for action, inspiring people across continents to contribute to meaningful social change.
