Project Story

Print Job Done is a UK-based print-on-demand and custom printing service offering business stationery, promotional products, photo gifts, and personalised apparel.

While the brand already had an operational online store, it faced two core challenges:

  1. Low visibility for high-intent, industry-relevant search terms.

  2. Inefficient conversion paths causing potential customers to drop off before purchase.

Our mission was to strengthen SEO performance to attract the right traffic and optimise conversion rates by refining the shopping journey from discovery to checkout.

SEO Strategy & Optimisation

1. Keyword Targeting

  • Researched and targeted transactional keywords like “custom mug printing UK”, “personalised business cards London”, and “cheap flyer printing UK”.

  • Created separate optimised landing pages for key categories such as Apparel, Stationery, and Gifts.

  • Refined meta titles and descriptions with keyword + benefit-driven messaging (e.g., “Same Day Printing in London – Order Now”).

2. On-Page Enhancements

  • Added schema markup for products, reviews, and local business data.

  • Improved image alt tags for SEO and accessibility.

  • Strengthened internal linking between related products and bundles.

3. Content Marketing

  • Developed blog articles like “How to Choose the Right Paper for Business Cards” and “Personalised Corporate Gifts That Clients Remember”.

  • Linked content pieces strategically to drive readers toward high-margin product categories.

CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation)

1. User Navigation & Experience

  • Simplified top navigation to highlight main product categories.

  • Added “Quick Order” and “Start Your Print Job” CTAs to speed up customer journeys.

2. Product Page Optimisation

  • Improved product descriptions to focus on benefits, quality, and turnaround time.

  • Integrated dynamic product recommendations to encourage upsells.

3. Checkout & Trust Signals

  • Reduced checkout to fewer steps with a guest checkout option.

  • Displayed clear delivery estimates and satisfaction guarantees.

  • Featured Google review ratings prominently near CTAs.

Performance Tracking & Tools

  • Google Analytics for conversion tracking.

  • Search Console for monitoring keyword rankings.

  • Hotjar heatmaps for understanding where users dropped off in the funnel.

  • A/B testing for CTA button text and homepage banners.

Projected & Measured Impact

Goal Result After 3 Months
Organic traffic growth +33%
Product page visits +27%
Conversion rate improvement +21%
Keywords in Top 3 positions 10+ targeted phrases

Key Takeaways

  • Category-specific SEO ensures each main product type captures relevant search traffic.

  • CRO improvements like streamlined checkout and visible trust elements directly reduce abandonment rates.

  • Combining SEO and CRO strategies delivers a sustainable increase in both traffic and revenue for ecommerce printing businesses.
